Frequently Asked Questions

When is the center available?
The center is available any day that is not already scheduled for use, mostly on Fridays. Please call to check availability. Minimum booking time is two hours.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Everyone is used to certain types of products that they prefer to use. You are welcome to bring these and any medications, disposables, and local anesthetics you might need. Standard dental equipment is available here including motors, hand pieces and connections, air/water syringe, saliva ejectors and high-speed suction, and general overhead lighting. There is also a restorative lab for use during procedures.
Can you obtain cone beam CT 3D dental imaging for the patient?
Yes, cone beam CT 3D dental imaging is available and can be taken at the regular fees for this type of service. With the assistance from our oral and maxillofacial radiologist, on-site SimPlant® Master software can help you plan implant cases very precisely.
May I bring my support staff?
You work best with the chairside people on your team. Feel free to bring them with you when you see your patients at the center. You are also welcome to bring a lab technician or additional staff as needed. Our staff provides general support.
Does the surgery center have a dental chair?
Both of our surgical suites are outfitted with state-of-the-art dental chairs and equipment. These dental chairs are much more ergonomic for dentists to use than a standard operating room table. The treatment rooms are equipped with dental microscopes, but feel free to bring your own loupes if they are more comfortable to you.
Is general anesthesia available?
We keep costs to you low by not carrying general anesthesia certification. For that reason, general anesthesia and deep sedation are not available. Dr. Mathys can provide conscious sedation if you wish. Alternatively, a clinician with a current Colorado license to provide conscious sedation is welcome to provide sedation services when you work here.
How do I get started?
Before you schedule your first patient here, we invite you to come tour the center. We'll do a dry run prior to you treating patients at the center. After that, you'll be set up to use the facility as often as you need without practice runs.
