Dr. Datar believes in a team-approach regarding the planning and delivery of care for his patients. By well informing his patients of their treatment needs and options, he can best provide the care necessary to ensure oral health and rehabilitation.

After growing up in Colorado Springs, Dr. Datar obtained his undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago, his dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, and a specialty certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree from the University of Colorado.

Through his periodontal residency, Dr. Datar has completed advanced training in the treatment of gum disease, dental implants, and IV conscious sedation. Offering a specialized background in Periodontics, Dr. Datar enjoys collaborating with other dental practitioners in order to best provide the comprehensive needs of his patients.

Dr. Datar is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Along with being voted as a Top Dentist in 5280 Magazine since 2017, Dr. Datar holds a position as Clinical Instructor with the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. 

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and skiing with his wife, Marisa, their son, Samuel, and their rescue dog, Kemba. He, along with his family, values the sense of community and endless outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer.
